An I-beam mezzanine platform is a two- or three-tier steel structure constructed within a factory or warehouse. It utilizes standard-compliant Q235 or Q355 I-beams as primary and secondary girders, complemented by support columns, flooring panels, staircases, and guardrails. The core objective of this system is to stratify and utilize vertical spatial height, thereby effectively multiplying the available storage area.
1. Core Structure
Support System: I-beam main girders + secondary beams (typically C-channel steel or U-channel steel), round/square tubular columns, and high-strength bolted connections (weld-free, modular design);
2. Flooring: Checkered steel plates, interlocking steel panels, steel grating, or composite wood panels;
3. Auxiliary Facilities: Standard staircases/inclined ladders, safety guardrails (minimum height 1.05m), and lifting platforms/freight elevators;
4. Key Performance & Parameters
Typical Load Capacity: 500–2000 kg/m² (suitable for heavy-duty cargo);
Recommended Clear Height: ≥5m (generally feasible at ≥4.5m); Span: 3–12m;
Surface Treatment: Rust removal + painting / hot-dip galvanizing (corrosion-resistant, ensuring a long service life);
Installation: Modular assembly (short construction cycle); fully demountable, relocatable, and reusable.
